It's regrettable that my hair had pretty much died after all the bleaching and dye jobs, but it's already been done, may as well continue HAHAHAHA. Something that I wasn't prepared for though, was the blue dye to stayed on for so long and turned my hair 4 tones darker. Now I miss my blonde head so much, ugh.

Anyway, I've decided to get rid of the ugly blue because it became super patchy and purplish(god knows how did that even happened), and it's simply hideous. So I dropped by Artistry and made yet another life changing decision.

Tadahhhhh! I finally look less ahlian. I really like the new hair but the love was short lived. I started missing my long blonde hair after a week and couldn't stop whining about it being too short. Sigh, I legit cannot keep long hair. I've got no patience to wait for it to grow pass the awkward length.... And I regret cutting my hair every single time(?!)
I guess girls will always be girls.....

Anyway, Elein helped me dye my hair ash grey to cover up the ugly patchy blue. She first washed out the blue with a bleach shampoo(it actually really is just bleach powder added to grey shampoo), and then proceed to do a treatment before helping me with the dye job.


They have a series of new hair colors that just came in and it is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I was so conflicted when choosing the color I want, hahahhaa


I ended up going for Silvery Ash color, which didn't really turned out the way it should because of my purple based hair. So the ash became a really nice Silvery Purple instead. No complains because I've always loved this color hahaha

Anyway, after a longgggg three months of having my fringe flying all over the place, I finally dropped by Artistry Hair Professional to get my DYNA Straightening Treatment done. You have no idea how annoyed I was with my fringe before the treatment. Every single time I tie my hair up, I could see it sticking out like weeds all over the place, ugh.

We are all victims of frizziness but have you ever thought of why and what caused frizziness?

Actually it all boils down to how you wash your hair, and dry your hair, and all the after care you give to your hair for beautiful locks.


Frizziness is caused by extremely dry hair that lacks the moisture. Which is why after dyeing your hair, it will remain dry for a while. Usually the frizziness will go away once your hair absorb enough natural hair oil from your scalp!

To tackle frizziness, get rid of the humidity within your hair, and use some hair oil. Keep your hair moisturized with frequent hair treatments and say hi to shiny, smooth locks! Not even kidding, your hair is the same as your skin. It needs hair care, just like how you need your toner and moisturizer every day after washing your face.

When was the last time I did a lens review? I can't remember. Anyway, here I have with me today is a pair of Select Fairy Cocoa Brown lenses from PINKICON.COM.

PINKICON is the largest circle lenses distributor in Hong Kong. There are a lot of Japan and Korea lenses on their site for you to chose from. Best part? They ship worldwide for FREE for ALL Circle lenses.

I'm not gonna lie. I really hate how I have to pay extra $5~$8 just for shipping. It makes no sense for me to purchase online, and having to wait after paying the same price as what I could get at our local opticians. Even though some websites have really nice lenses, shipping fees that cost nearly the price of the lenses itself is a total turn off.

I swear it took me 3 days of shopping on their website, before I finally made up my mind what lenses I want. I settled with a pair of Select Fairy Cocoa Brown because it looks so natural despite the design looking really fancy. It is actually really sheer, but still gives off a tinge of chocolate eye color like those Korean stars with natural hazel eye kind of thing. Fuyoh, I love this pair of lenses so much. Even so, I still feel a bit regrettable, because there are so many other lenses I wanna try apart from this pair that I gotten.


The comfort level is so good. This is the very first pair of lenses that actually feels like jelly to me. Unlike most lenses that has this plastic-y feeling, the Select Fairy Cocoa Brown actually feels like gelatin, hahahaha. Imagine jelly squishies; stress ball or some sort. Of course not that thick lah.


I don't know if that's how it works, but the lenses' jelly texture made it fit my iris shape perfectly. Thus the comfort level, and I don't feel like there is a layer of lenses there at all.


The lenses doesn't dry up too quickly either, but of course if you are gonna wear it with tired eyes, it will probably feel extremely dry after 2 - 3 hours. On days where I have enough sleep, and don't wake up with eyelid that's stuck together, the lenses actually doesn't feel like it is gonna drop out at all.

On days where I only have 1 - 3 hours of sleep though, I could feel the lenses peeling off my eye ball.
Simply saying, tired eyes should never be covered with a layer of lens. Wear glasses instead.


Half a month in, the lenses are still in tip-top condition. No deteriorate of quality, and it is not drying up fast too. That doesn't mean you should extend it's expiry date. Try not to wear monthly lenses for more than 25 days! It is extremely unhygienic!

With that said, it is almost time for me to throw away my Select Fairy Cocoa Brown.. How much I'd miss this pair of beautiful and natural looking lenses. I'll miss my hazel eyes.......

Ever since school started, I've made it a point that self pampering time should never be spared.
I will from now on deem it illegal to spare my precious personal time for other people or events regardless school, work or friends. Okay actually it is very subjective. It all depends on what level of importance someone or something is in my life, in order for me to decide whether is it worth sacrificing my me-time for. Work life balance you know, hahahaha.

First thing I do upon completing my major project last week was to find Elein. Life was so terrible you can actually see how stressed up I was from just the way my hair looked. It was ALL OVER THE PLACE, and looks fried as hell. Fact that Kimmy is stuck in camp made things a whole lot worse because I used to whine to him every night so I don't keep things within myself, and risk exploding my guts. Now that he isn't around, I could feel my frustrations and annoyance towards everything being built up deep inside me and slowly bursting out through my head and my eyes. Ugh, how pathetic.

Anyway. I headed over to Headlines Hairdressing by Artistry last Tuesday to get a hair make. I was really bored of my dark coloured hair, so I told Elein I wanna go bright this time round so I could look gorgeous asf for my Krabi trip. With the restrictions of bleaching, I couldn't go blonde like how I used to, otherwise it would break apart really easily because my hair is really really thin. Super glad to know I am not suffering from hair loss though, I just have really really thin hair.

So Elein gave me ash brown, with a higher level toner, so it will look brighter without having to bleach.


Elein never fail to amaze me. I achieved bright colors easily without having to bleach, and I got even brighter ombré ends after she removed purple off my hair ends. Is this a sign for ash colors soon? 8D

Actually I really do wanna try out Harley Quinn's red &able ombré. Then maybe can cos with movie mania for the next show. Okay lemme slim down first HAHAHAHHAAHA


Results: I LARVE IT.

I got a hair treatment after my dye job too. The usual Mucota ABC treatment that never fails to salvage my frizziness and dry ends. I especially love it when they steam my hair.
