VIVIANTIAN'S

I don't know if you guys saw it, but I've been actively promoting my new eyelash sponsor EYELOVEIT.sg(also opened by my bestfriend) on my Instagram. Was honestly never a fan of thick fluffy lashes, because I've always thought it to be really unnatural and uncomfortable. But my favorite bitch just started her new venture, I gave her all the freedom to customize one set of pretty lashes for me.

Here's my freshly done Camellia Lash! I've honestly always thought thick lashes to be weird on me because I used to put on falsies when I go performing and it made my eye look really long and ....... evil. LOL. Anyway, here's a set of pretty Camellia that makes your eyes pop. According to my stylist, Camellia lashes are freestyle lashes where they attach a random amount of faux lashes to your natural lash to create the look. Unlike when you go for 3D, 5D, 6D, they have a fixed amount of faux lashes attached to your natural ones. 3 strands for 3D, 5 strands for 5D, and 6 strands for 6D so on and so forth. (I didn't even know there were so much science to this!)

Here's a before and after. My eyes don't look that sleepy anymore! Now I can effortlessly look ready for life instead of looking like I haven't seen light in eons, hahahahaha.

The lashes are also extremely soft and fluffy, it feels really light as if there isn't anything there at all. I don't know if you could tell, but it's really really soft and lighttttt!! First day after my extension, I woke up rubbing my eyes because I still wasn't used to it and it didn't even felt like there was anything there. Until I tangled a few strands and it was tugging so hard, it hurt like hell, lmao.

Next concern is obviously the retention. Many girls are afraid of wasting their money because the eyelashes usually won't last for more than 2 weeks and then you'll have to return for touch up at 2 weeks mark or so in most places. Here's a shot of my 2 weeks(16 days to be exact) Camellia lash, with all of my random tugging. It is still recommended to do your bi-weekly touch ups, but you can rest assured EYELOVEIT.sg's extension can definitely retain much longer than that before your touch-up session.

Here's touch up on Day 16, she gave me even fuller lashes hahahaha. Either go big or go home yaw. But I have to say it is really pretty and I don't have to waste too much time on eye makeup anymore. It does get a bit of getting used to having shelter in your vision, but effortless good looks over that anytime, hueheuhue.

No eyeliner or mascara needed. Time to throw em all away!

Here's an opening promo for new customers, get $10 OFF when you book your appointment with EYELOVEIT.sg. Her services come with lash spa and lash cleaning as well. You'll also get free Under Eye Hydrogen Gel Mask, and pre-application of eyelash serum to strengthen your eyelashes before the session starts.

EYE LOVE IT.
Introducing.......... KEVIN.MURPHY HYDRATE-ME.RINSE!
The names of their products are freaking cool.

Founder and Session Stylist Kevin Murphy introduced his namesake professional haircare line to fill a void in the world of session styling. Unsatisfied with conventional haircare products on the market, he turned to advanced skincare technology to deliver weightless texture with gentle formulas using natural ingredients. The results are products that feature vitamins and amino acids to repair and thicken hair; weightless moisturisers from high-end skincare smooth and soften hair, while antioxidants from fruits and flowers reduce hair breakage and chemical damage.

It is as it's name says, shower your hair with hydration so moisturizing, it keeps your entangled mane in check. And I quote,

"Quench dull, parched and dry hair, with a nourishing hydration pick-me-up. HYDRATE-ME is our super-smoothing, hydrating line that will replenish hair with much needed moisture. Ideal for hair that’s naturally dry, or exposed to harsh, dry climates, it’s packed with antioxidant goodness to help restore a healthy glow to parched locks. Antioxidant-rich blend helps boost hydration."

The HYDRATE-ME range is suitable for people living in dry climate, or people with natural dry hair. Not only does it helps add essential moisture and shine to your hair, it also smooths it out while deliverying a silky-soft feeling as you comb it through. They do not test their products on animals, and it is also sulphate, paraben and cruelty-free. Packed with numerous vitamins, and nourishing oil(Such as Kakadu Plum, Jojoba Esters, Shea Butter and Evening Primrose Oil, Vitamin A &C), KEVIN.MURPHY's range of shampoo can help tackle many different hair troubles you are facing.

Best part, all packaging is recyclable!!

Here's my before and after shot after using KEVIN.MURPHY HYDRATE-ME.RINSE series.

Before – After

When I just woke up VS After showering and blow drying

I could see improvement in my hair after using it for a week. My hair is more moisturized and doesn't tangle up as much when I wear helmet now. It is more manageable as compared to before when I wasn't using KEVIN.MURPHY's Hydration range products. One thing I dislike about the product is the smell. (I love nice smelling shampoo!) It doesn't have nice floral fragrant or anything, just really common salon shampoo smell hahahaha. As my stylist always say, shampoo that smells nice are usually not good for the hair. Well, I guess that may actually be true. Kimmy loves the smell of this shampoo though?!

KEVIN.MURPHY also has different range suitable for different hair types for you to chose from. With different shampoo targetting different issues, KEVIN.MURPHY has it all in control for you. You can now get your sample at HYDRATE-ME.WASH and HYDRATE-ME.RINSE while stock lasts!

Going all natural with Bell cosmetics HYPOAllergenic range makeup in this post. Specially designed for sensitive skin, the HYPOAllergenic range feels extremely gentle on upon application. I especially love how light the liquid foundation feels, yet still gives amazing coverage. The concealer on the other hand though is pretty sheer and doesn’t really conceals much.

Their highlight and contouring stick is AMAZING. Application wasn’t cakey or patchy at all, it blends really smoothly! It is now my go-to contour stick until I come across a better one, hahaha. Best part, it's suitable for all skin type, so it doesn't clog your pores or make your skin excessively oily!

Here’s a list of what I’ve used for the everyday natural look:

1 Bell HYPOAllergenic Mat&Smooth Makeup Base
2 Bell HYPOAllergenic Mat&Soft Liquid Foundation
3 Bell HYPOAllergenic Concealer
4 Bell HYPOAllergenic Illuminating Stick
5 Bell HYPOAllergenic Contour Stick
6 Bell HYPOAllergenic Creamy Rouge Glow Stick
7 Bell HYPOAllergenic NUDE Eyeshadow 04
8 Bell HYPOAllergenic Eyebrow Styling Kit 02
9 Bell HYPOAllergenic Soft Color Moisturizing Lipstick 04
10 Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Pact

I usually set my makeup with Innisfree’s mineral pact because it really helps with oil control throughout the day! (So much love for their mineral pact x))

If you are looking for cosmetics for sensitive skin, you could try out Bell’s HYPOAllergenic range! I personally don’t have sensitive skin, but this range feels really light and gentle on my skin. Especially living in such a humid country, the makeup doesn’t clog my pores after a whole day out and it can also be easily removed with water based makeup removal! Available at John Little Plaza Singapura, Pink Beauty stores and Tara Apothecary. Check them out if you haven't!
Just had a major hair transformation last month with Elein before I flew off to Taiwan for an impromptu vacay. (Yes, I know I know, I fly around a lot and it's all impromptu, but I legit detest staying in Singapore la!) I am back to short bangs again after 1 year of crazy hair color journey hahahaha.

Here's a few shots over the past few months:

It's regrettable that my hair had pretty much died after all the bleaching and dye jobs, but it's already been done, may as well continue HAHAHAHA. Something that I wasn't prepared for though, was the blue dye to stayed on for so long and turned my hair 4 tones darker. Now I miss my blonde head so much, ugh.

Anyway, I've decided to get rid of the ugly blue because it became super patchy and purplish(god knows how did that even happened), and it's simply hideous. So I dropped by Artistry and made yet another life changing decision.

Now, lo and beholdddddddd......

Tadahhhhh! I finally look less ahlian. I really like the new hair but the love was short lived. I started missing my long blonde hair after a week and couldn't stop whining about it being too short. Sigh, I legit cannot keep long hair. I've got no patience to wait for it to grow pass the awkward length.... And I regret cutting my hair every single time(?!)
I guess girls will always be girls.....

Anyway, Elein helped me dye my hair ash grey to cover up the ugly patchy blue. She first washed out the blue with a bleach shampoo(it actually really is just bleach powder added to grey shampoo), and then proceed to do a treatment before helping me with the dye job.

It takes magic hands to be able to fix this mess ok.

They have a series of new hair colors that just came in and it is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I was so conflicted when choosing the color I want, hahahhaa

I ended up going for Silvery Ash color, which didn't really turned out the way it should because of my purple based hair. So the ash became a really nice Silvery Purple instead. No complains because I've always loved this color hahaha

So much love.

But okay, I still want to go blonde. I'd prefer blonde hair over anything anytime tbh hahahaha. Anyway, check out Artistry Hair Professional's ongoing promotion!

Look for Elein when you book your appointment with Artistry Hair Professional and get up to 10% ~ 30% OFF hair services when you quote my name during your visit!

Helluuuuu! I know it's been a while, yes yes... As usual. I've been working a lot lately thus the lack of update. Anyway, here's yet another pair of new lenses that I've been rocking for a while. Really love the colors, but it gets a tat bit uncomfortable when it comes to wearing it for long hours, :(

Before I go into more details, don't forget to check out my lovable sponsor who never fails to update me whenever they have new lenses on their list!

http://pinkyparadise.com"

These beautiful lenses come in 2 different series: Day & Night
The Day series is a single tone circle lenses meaning there is only 1 solid color whereas the Night series comes in 2 tones, giving your eyes a lil bit more dimension for the sexy look. (Woa woa, all the chimology terms coming out hahahhha)

I'm not the type that goes for super thick eye make up, so I took the Day series. Looks more normal on me, hahahahahaha

As mentioned, these pair of lenses are really not suitable to wear for long hours. It gets really dry and would just drop out whenever you blink. It's comfortable for the first 6 hours tho, maybe it's just my eyes.....

Not gonna discount on its beauty though! Hehehe, I really love them but too bad it's a monthly lens.

Thank you for coming back here to check out my nonsensical posts and reviews againnnnn, I really appreciate your audience because I understand how inactive I've been but you guys still stuck around. Mehehehehe.
If you are looking for any lenses, don't forget to check out Pinkyparadise, they have free shipping for orders above $49! And all their lenses are really pretty!!

Update soon, xo!
After so many years of contemplating and envying other people, I've finally done it.
I walked straight into SL Clinic this one fine day and decided that I should just go for it. HAHAHA, I'm just kidding. I didn't just walk in like that lah, of course. You gotta book appointment and all yadah-yadah.

Anyway, hidden away at this quiet corner of WestGate, is the SL Clinic. They specializes in many different areas such as skin facial, aesthetics enhancement, and medical spa in many forms. And after many years of consideration, I've decided to go and get my nose fillers done. I'm never one that is afraid of needles, but I am extremely afraid of getting cut opened. Which pretty much made me opt for the fillers instead of nose job. Especially after hearing so many bad nose job stories, and all the after-care and maintenance that is required just to keep those plastic in check.... Good lord, I am definitely not cut out for those. I am too lazy to be owning a plastic nose bridge.

So here we go.

I went for my consultation, and had the treatment on the same day. Well, since there isn't any surgery involved, the jabs can be done the same day you go for your consultation. My doctor was very attentive to all my #badflatandugly nose concern, and provided me advices on which are the places that is suitable for me to do. The entire consultation was pretty straightforward since my nose bridge is almost non-existent, so Dr Charlene told me that she will build me a nose bridge, and then lift up my nose tip a little to make my nostril smaller, so I will look like I have a smaller nose.
I actually really want a smaller face more than a smaller nose, but to have a smaller face I'd need to go for jaw reduction. Oh hell naw, I'm too wuss for dat.

Really very scared.
Just kidding. I had to remove my make up first before putting on numbing cream for the treatment.

Dam shiok, I get to have free facial hahahaha. It was just a short cleansing and massage though, :(

I swear my nose felt like rubber after it was numbed. As in, when I touch it, because I couldn't feel anything on my nose, I have no senses to distract the feeling of my skin. My nose legit feels like some rubbery latex mask it was actually super freaky.

Tying up the fringe and getting all ready.
CHEK OUT MY EGGCITED ASF FACE, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

"Doctor, my nose feels dam weird I don't even know where am I touching anymore."

"Haha, okay let me measure the distance I need to inject. Come look straight."
Doctor Charlene is extremely composed and professional despite me being such a distracting chatterbox during the treatment hahahahaha.

This is the brand of fillers I used. Image a little bit unfocused ah, super trippy lol.

First needle in felt a little bit weird. You can actually feel the needle wiggly under your skin, but then it doesn't hurt at all. Maybe I watched too much gore, I actually felt slightly grossed out imagining how the needle was moving under the skin while getting the filler gel in place.

The entire process was almost painless. I would say it is actually painless because my pain tolerance is quite high, but the discomfort was there. It was super uncomfortable when the needle went in. BUT DOCTOR CHARLENE IS SO GENTLE???!

Actually I also discovered, the less tensed you are, the more comfortable you'd feel. I know, I know.... It's hard to relax with a needle wriggling all over, but try your best if you are gonna get fillers kay!

After all, no pain no gain right?!

And....... the results.....!

OH MY GOD, I HAZ A NOSE BRIDGE NOW.

It's super amazing how that slight lift could make such a big change. Of course, the immediate effect after my treatment was a bit too exaggerated because it is still swollen. And probably didn't suit me because the bridge looked so thin without that gradual blending to my nose. There are some people who actually prefer this "swollen effect" though. The swelling goes down by the next day for me, but there were still some aching and tightness for about a week.

Right after the fillers, it is recommended to not do any vigorous exercise or facials, or to apply pressure on the places you did your fillers. It may deform your fillers before it settles down. The fillers will usually take 2 weeks to settle, after 2 weeks, you can resume with all your activities and also to head back to the clinic for a review/touch up/top up, depending on how the results turn out.

Fact that I actually have fillers now makes it super convenient when I take pictures. I no longer need to photoshop my nose to make myself look more awake, I also spend lesser time with my make up because I no longer need to contour as much. Like I can go out bare face, and still see shadows forming what seems to be a nose bridge in between my eyes.... HAHAHAHHAA. Of course, I would prefer to fill up that arc from my eyebrows to my nose bridge though. So it doesn't look so curvy, and have a straight line down instead.

See that curve towards my eye brows? It's not proportionate, so it actually makes my eyebrows look kinda odd haha. I have no idea how can I make my eyebrow grow lower also, ~_~" I guess the only solution is go back and touch up my fillers, to make that link between my nasal and browbone less curvy? LOL.

Nonetheless, side view looks pretty dang awesome hehehehe. Will probably go back for a touch up after CNY!

Jezuz Kraiz, I really need to do my eye brows.
