VIVIANTIAN'S

Technology is changing, y'all. I almost couldn't keep up with all these advancements because things are changing so fast ever since Covid19 hit! You can now call for steamboat delivery? (WHAT.) I've actually heard about it never knew how it works. I've always thought maybe it's just purchasing groceries and ingredient then a bit stupid to be ordering from a steamboat shop right, since you can delivery from supermarkets, hahahaha. But nope! I got to try out Steamboat Delivery Singapore last week, and was so surprised by the options available for delivery. Furthermore, everything at just a few clicks away?!

Ingredients and groceries aside, what surprised me the most was tiny personal pot that they gave. You can now maintain personal hygiene by eating in your own pot!!!!! Okay, that's not the point. I got 2 free mini pots because I chose 2 different soup bases. Best part, their ingredients are not only fresh, it's cheaper than supermarkets. Convenience checked, price checked, quality checked! Really nothing for me to pick on. I am a lazy person and if I can bring steamboat to my home without me having to step out of my place, why. not. XD

Check out my mini pot!!!!! SO FREAKING CUTE!!! Lighting up the gel was scary tho. The flame is transparent, so dumb me tried to put my hand above the gel to check if it's actually lit. Yes, it was. It's lit. Dammit.

I actually pre-ordered the food 3 hours earlier for my dinner so it will arrive on time. It's kind of my habit to pre-order my dinner so I don't have to end up waiting over an hour when I finally get hungry. That said, Steamboat Delivery Singapore actually guarantees 1 Hours islandwide Delivery regardless of peak or not! And you get free delivery when you order above $100! The soup base are actually frozen soup, so when it arrived it was still in slushy form. Had to microwave and defrost it before pouring into my pot otherwise its one huge piece of ice stuck in the pack 8(

Pot's quality was amazing too. It's heavy kinda stainless steel pots, and the handles are not hot to touch even after boiling your soup in it. Downside is that, the flame isn't very constant. So your food may take a while to cook.

Soup base comes in 5 different flavors, Premium Collagen Soup, Sichuan Mala Soup, Tomato Soup, Pork Tonkotsu Soup and Kimchi Soup. I ordered the Tomato Soup and Premium Collagen Soup, would highly recommend their Premium Collagen, but not so much of the Tomato one. There's this really strong herbal taste to it rather than Tomato, which was kinda disappointing. Maybe if we added some actual tomatoes it'll taste better. I personally prefer soup with stronger flavor, and the Tomato Soup feels kinda lacking.

The ingredients were pretty basic but they are very, very fresh. Don't expect wagyu or black pork grade though, it's really really your basic meat hahahaha. Superb filling for 2 pax nonetheless. We couldnt finish the vegetables in the end, that's pretty much every one of us when we have steamboat right. We always avoid the greens, HAHA. It will be more value for money if you order ala-carte so you can avoid getting the ingredients you don't usually touch. You can find out more on their website: Steamboat Delivery Singapore!

It’s a different kind of pizza day with the fam! I was asked by the nice people at Best In Singapore to do a review on Pizza Delivery Singapore. I’ll be real frank with you, the only pizzas I’ve ever ordered from were the 2 pizza giant. And I’ve never tried out any other because I don’t exactly pizza often enough to know much about pizza delivery availability in Singapore. And to my surprise, there are actually THIS MANY options to chose from in case you get your order rejected from all that you’ve already known. Yes, that’s what annoy me the most when it comes to delivery. ”The restaurant can’t accept your request right now due to overwhelming order.”

Tsk.

Anyway! I’ve tried out Pizza Delivery Singapore this time with my family, and I must say the response has been very positive.

Though we have to place order in advanced, I would honestly rather expect my delivery at a certain time than to have delays and my pizzas arrive in terrible state. I ordered 4 pizzas and a couple of side dishes to go along with for our pizza party! They have 2 pizzas for the price of 1 going on right now, so it helped me save a lot while getting enough food for 7 pax!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Bolognese Pizza

Seafood Pizza

Hawaii Pizza

Honey Mustard Prawn, Crispy Chicken Wing, Mozarella Stick, Fish Finger

The husband is not quite the fan, but my parents and cousins had plenty of praises for the pizzas! Cousin was constantly asking where did I get these, how much is it and stuff. Pricing is actually pretty affordable with their 1-for-1 deal, but their snackies is on the steeper side. They have pasta too, which I did not get to try because I obviously ordered way too many pizzas. For the price of the sides I ordered though, is enough to get me 2 more pasta mains.

Crowd's favorite: Crispy Chicken Wing, Honey Mustard Prawn

Mozarella Stick, Fish Finger

Lots of love for the Crispy Chicken(from me too!), but not so much for the breaded prawn and the other snackies. Would have tried the prawns if I was able to take seafood though. I recently developed a habit of ordering food I cannot eat, just to see people enjoy eating them. Hahahaha. The sauces on the other hand, were amazing. Probably not their in-house, but what's fast food without mayo and honey mustard sauce. Now that I know, the next time I order, I'll get myself more Crispy Chickys. Hahahaha.

Would 101% order again because my family loves them! Thank you so much Best In Singapore for great recommendation once again! Do follow Best In Singapore up and check them out for more recommendations from lifestyle to food, to everything under the sun! And also, when all else fails, don't forget there's still Pizza Delivery Singapore. Have a great weekend!
I am so happy to announce that my home is 99% ready for us to move in! We are just a few carpentry work away from doing the final clean up, and shift all of our barangs and furnitures. That said, we have actually been staying at our new place since a few weeks back so it's easier for us to do unpacking and cleaning.

We had already pushed back the "move in" date for a month over due to me being hospitalized and all, so to not delay any longer, I held a mini housewarming for my family last weekend before the Hungry Ghost month hits! We were very lucky to be able to try out On & On Diner's latest National Day Mini Buffet Menu, specially crafted to celebrate the nation's birthday for my housewarming! Eternally grateful because ordering with them was fuss free and I really didn't need to worry too much except to think of what I wanna serve my guests for the day, hahahahaha.

If you don't already know, On & On Diners is a halal catering company with a total of 10 years of service experience. They started out in 2009 with an emphasis on catering food that is prepared with quality ingredients and healthier oils. Coupled with traditional local recipes, they whip up unique dishes for special events, giving their customers a different kinda spin.

Food arrived 15 minutes before the event started, nicely packed and warm in a huge thermal bag which you can keep after. We were given personal sets of cutleries as well as serving spoons for each dish! Everything well thought out of. I ordered the amount for 20 pax, and was super worried about leftovers because the food really seemed too much for 20 people. To my surprise, most of the dishes were wiped, and my family were all fed and satisfied!

Here's what I ordered!

My favorite was the Braised Beehoon, Buttery Salted Egg Yolk Fish and Lamb Rendang! That's also because I am to avoid seafood for now, so I didn't have much of the rest of the dishes. But I ordered anyway because who doesn't love seafood! It actually took me 3 days to decide what to order because their selections look so good, I am spoilt for choice.

And I really really really wanted the Belachan Fried Rice and Laksa Lemak Goreng but............ :'(

I didn't manage to take photos of the food because they started when I was away...... :'(
Saddest part was the whole tub of Honeydew Sago finished in just a span of 30 - 45 minutes after everyone was done with the main dishes when I was with other guests. I only got a small bowl for myself, sobs. Honeydew Sago is my favorite luuhhhhhhh!
But here's a few shots from my Instagram story before everyone arrived!

It's not a common sight to see minimal leftovers! Trust me when I say they were asking for more, haha. Oh! I also ordered myself a pot of Mala Xiang Guo, hahahaha! Craving satisfied with all dem spices right there. A pity my family are not exactly fans of spicy food, so I've had them all to myself, baha. Kimmy's favorite was the Lamb Rendang, he even dipped his Fried Ebi in the Rendang sauce instead of the given wasabi sauce,

My mouth is watering just at the thought of this amazing spread we had last weekend. Food is a really touchy topic for me right now. Due to my medication, there are a lot of things I have to avoid, and most of it are my favorite food. I get really upset and annoyed whenever I am told something I love is out of the list of things I can eat, sigh. Hence opting for healthier choices and quality ingredient became a part of my lifestyle these days. I am blessed to have On & On Diners catering for my housewarming, because they actually have food that I can eat, mehehehehe.

National Day is almost here, if you are looking to prep up your gatherings, why not try out On & On Diners' exclusive National Day Mini Buffet Menu? They also have other menus for you to chose from!

Keep a look out for MOF's new chain of restaurant at GSH Plaza if you are around Raffles Place!

From tempuras to kaisen dons, to chinese cuisines, MOF has a range of different menu waiting to spoil your taste buds.

Kaisen Tei: A self customizing style Kaisen don booth for you to a quick takeaway during your lunch time. No time to sit in for lunch? Do a take away by filling up a quick order chit, and you're good to go!

Tadah -

Because most of Kaisen Tei's ingredients are raw sashimi, it is best to consume within 60 minutes of purchase. They also have many different sauces for you to accompany your don with.

I personally love Pesto the best!

Not into Japanese or raw food today? It's okay, there's chinese cuisine from Juhao too!

They have a wide range of rice and noodles for you to chose from. Not forgetting all the tiny side dishes that you can order to accompany your main dish.

Juhao has a promotion right now, for just $8++ you get to try all 3 different flavors of their Xiaolongbao in a basket of 6! Though I am not exactly a fan of other xiaolongbao flavors..... their original is a must-try.

This dish is served cold. Pork belly wrapped cucumber with their custom made chili paste. I personally don't really fancy the paste much because it's too salty, but it's really nice to top your rice with juuuuuuussssttt a teeny bit of the sauce! The pork belly cucumber is really good though, hiak hiak.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

XIAOOOO LONGGGGG BAOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I heard they have a chocolate flavor one, maybe you can check out their other outlet in Novena!

Juhao Opening Hours: Monday to Friday: 11:00am – 8:00pm (closed on weekends)

At the other corner of GSH Plaza, is a hidden gem filled with delicious Tempuraaaaaas! My personal favorite out of the three different restaurant under the MOF chain. It's Ling's favorite too!!

Curry Chicken Katsu Don! Kimmy would love this but he's in camp hahahhaa

My favorite of the day, Cha Soba and Seafood Tempura! The eggplant is the best. Then again, I am a fan of eggplant, I'm not so sure about you guys because a lot of my friends actually hates eggplant. Hahahahaha.

Their Ebi Tempura is not too bad too! A pity the serving is really small for this bundle. Of course you can order a ala carte that has bigger serving of everything!

The Set Menu:

Set One:
Tempura Udon Set with Mixed Tendon ($16.90++) – Mixed Tempura with Cold / Hot Udon served with Miso Soup
Tempura Udon Set with Vege Tendon ($15.90++) – Vege Tempura with Cold / Hot Udon served with Miso Soup.

Set Two:
Tempura Cha Soba Set with Mixed Tendon ($16.90++) – Mixed Tempura with Cold / Hot Soba served with Miso Soup
